1. Introduction
In this privacy statement we explain what data of yours we process if we have, want to have or have had a commercial relationship with you. We also explain why and for how long we process your data, and what your rights are with regard to each processing. In addition, we provide information about the parties with whom we collaborate and our security policy, amongst other things.
 
We feel it is important that our service provision is reliable and transparent. We therefore handle your personal data discreetly and with care, and we make sure that all processing of your data complies with the applicable laws and regulations.

3. Privacy Manager
We have appointed a Privacy Manager. This is not a ‘data protection officer’ as described in article 37 of the GDPR. But this is someone who ensures that your data is processed in accordance with the law. The Privacy Manager’s activities include supervision and dealing with questions and complaints. 4. The personal data that we process
Depending on your relationship with our organisation and the purpose for which we process data, we will record (always some of) the following data:

  1. Name and address details
  2. Telephone number
  3. E-mail address
  4. Job details
  5. Details of (past) participation in events
  6. Data about your activities on our website
  7. Video recordings of visits to our company or site
  8. Dietary requirements

5. The purpose for which we process personal data and on the basis of which principle
We process your personal data for the following purposes: 
  1. keeping financial records
  2. processing and executing orders
  3. organising (customer) events
  4. sending newsletters or mass mailing
  5. maintaining job application records (vacancies - candidates)
  6. maintaining access control
  7. maintaining a log of visitors visitors log
  8. maintaining camera supervision
  9. monitoring website visits
The processing grounds are those as described in article 6 of the GDPR (permission, contract or legitimate interest).
 
6. Automated decision-making
We do not make decisions about issues that can have (significant) consequences for persons on the basis of automated processing. This relates to decisions that are made by computer programs or systems without intervention by a human (e.g. one of our employees).
 
7. How long we retain personal data
Generally we do not retain your data for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which we have collected your data. The retention period can differ from case to case. One example is that we need to retain a number of documents for a minimum period for tax or administrative purposes. In those cases we will only retain the data needed in order to comply with our legal obligations. After the statutory retention periods we will delete or anonymize your data.
 
8. Sharing personal data with third parties
We will not share your personal data with third parties unless this is done as part of the execution of a contract with you and in order to comply with any legal obligation. Insofar as these third parties are deemed to be a processor, we have entered into a processor agreement with that third party which regulates security, confidentiality and your rights, amongst other things. We remain responsible for this processing.

  4. maintaining access control
  5. maintaining a visitors log

9. Cookies or comparable technology that we use
We use cookies on our website. This is a small text file that is saved in the browser on your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website.
 
We use the following cookies:
  1. cookies with a purely technical function. These ensure that the website works properly and that your preference settings are stored, for example. These cookies are also used to make the website work well and in order to be able to optimise it.
  2. cookies that track your surfing behaviour so that we can offer you tailored content and advertisements. When you visited our website we informed you about these cookies and asked permission to install them.
  3. cookies placed by third parties, such as advertisers and/or social media companies.
You can refuse cookies by setting up your Internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies. You can also delete all information saved previously through your browser’s settings.
 
10. Your rights (access, modification, deletion etc.)
Your rights with regard to the processing of your data are explained below.
 
  1. Right of access
    You have the right of access to your own data. This also includes asking what the purposes are of the processing, to which parties the data is provided, and what the retention periods are.
  2. Right to rectification
    You can ask us to have your data rectified immediately. You also have the right to supplement incomplete data, for example by sending us an e-mail.
  3. ‘Right to be forgotten’
    You have the ‘right to be forgotten’. We will delete your data without unreasonable delay on request. However, we may not always be permitted to delete all your data. For example, sometimes processing is still required in order to comply with legal obligations or to initiate, exercise or substantiate claims.
  4. Right to restrict the processing
    In principle you have the right to have processing of your data restricted, for example if you believe that your data is incorrect or unnecessary.
  5. Notification of rectification, deletion or restriction
    We will inform the recipients of your data of every rectification, deletion or restriction of processing unless this is impossible or requires disproportionate effort.
  6. Right to portability of your data
    You have the right to portability of data. This means that you can ask to receive your data. You can then store this data for personal reuse. You only have this right with regard to data that you have provided to us and if the processing is based on permission or a contract to which you are a party.
  7. Withdrawing permission
    If the data processing is based on permission, you have the right to withdraw that permission at any time. However, the processing of your data in the period prior to the withdrawal will remain lawful.
  8. Right to object
    In principle you also have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. After your objection we will in principle cease processing your data.
  9. Complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or the courts.
    If you believe that the processing of your data breaches the law, you can contact our Privacy Manager, but you also have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority or go to court.
  10. Restriction of your rights
    We can sometimes restrict your rights, e.g. in order to prevent, investigate, detect and prosecute crimes such as fraud.

Any request should be addressed to our Privacy Manager. To ensure that the request is made by you, upon receipt of your request we will send you a number of verification questions that you must answer before we can process the request. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but no later than four weeks after your request. 
 
11. How we secure personal data
We take the protection of your data seriously and take appropriate steps to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted publication and unauthorised modification. If you feel that your data is not properly protected or there are indications of misuse, please contact our Privacy Manager.
 
12. Amendments
We can amend this statement if developments give grounds for doing so, e.g. in the event of new forms of processing. You can find the latest privacy statement on our website. We recommend that you read this privacy and cookies statement regularly in order to remain informed about the amendments.
