Wiki: Certificate
A certificate is a test report. Depending on the quality, there is a 3.1 or 3.2 certificate available. The 3.1 certificate states: material quality, material standard, heat and test number, mechanical properties and chemical composition. The 3.2 certificate contains the same information as the 3.1 certificate. The difference is that in 3.2 production and certification is supervised by an independent official body. Such as: Lloyd's Register (LR) and Det Norkse Veritas - Germanischer Lloyd (DNV GL).
